VISUAL DIARY: CROSSWINDS RESORTS SUITES, TAGAYTAY

Living and working abroad has been a struggle for most OFWs around the globe. It is a bittersweet running experience for me to be honest, considering the fact that you are away from your loved ones, but it is rewarding at the same time especially when you know that you are capable of providing for yourself and for your family, not to mention those learning experiences you gain being an expat! But what really excites me is when I start planning my annual vacation. Yup! One of the benefits we have is the chance to go back to our country once or twice a year.

Last June 2016, I was browsing the internet for potential places to visit and have some quality time with my family until I came across with a blog featuring CrossWinds which is located in Tagaytay. I was really interested with this Swiss inspired village so I didn't think twice to book for an overnight staycation with my family!

Crosswinds Resorts Suites is located inside CrossWinds Luxury Swiss Resorts which is a community developed by Brittay Corporation. It's like condo-hotel and it is managed by Hospitality International, Inc, (HII). It offers beautifully furnished rooms and breathtaking sceneries of the the mountain side.

It was July when we visit the place, not even close to December but it feels like Christmas. I'm pretty sure that if you've been there already, you would agree with me! :)

I have learned that a total of 20,000 pine trees were manually planted by the developer. Isn't it awesome?

Zigzag, uphill and downhill roads are just fine, they're part of the adventure before you reach the Grand Quartier where the hotels and condo rooms are located.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite and we were impressed with the whole set up. The 2 rooms were beautifully arranged and beds were really comfortable.

The dining table looks perfect!

KITCHEN!!! Yeah, we were informed ahead of time that we can bring and cook our own food without corkage fee, so we dropped by at the grocery store along the way to grab some stuff to cook!

Now behold, the BREATHTAKING views from our room.

In the afternoon, we headed to the outdoor swimming pool.

A good night hangout at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at the main entrance of CrossWinds.

Good Morning, CrossWinds!

Upon checking in, you will be asked what would you like to have for breakfast for the following day. They have different sets of breakfast meal which is complimentary. I chose the one which isn't available in Saudi Arabia, Ham!!!

Also in the morning, we had a great time celebrating the 2nd birthday of my niece, Ariane.

We have packed our belongings before we went to one of the best attractions of CrossWinds, the Christmas Village! But unfortunately, Santa's house was closed that day so we just took some pictures outside.

Before we check out, we didn't forget to pose for our family portrait. :)

Guess what? As we all know that "'tis the season to be jolly" because Christmas is just around the corner, CrossWinds is inviting everyone to witness their Grand Christmas Kick-Off on November 12, 2016. Gosh! If only I could fly back to Pinas, I would really love to go. :(

See below poster for more details.

See you again CrossWinds, that is for sure! :)
