UPGRADED HEART OF THE FILIPINO

Mabuhay! Just last week, I've witnessed the product update presentation of the PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, headed by PAL's Country Manager (KSA), Mr. Ricky Pacquing at Coral Hotel Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Most of the attendees were travel officers from different travel agencies in the eastern region. The event was graced as well by some of the Filipino community leaders in Al Khobar. I was invited by Mr. Chris. Cafuir, Sales Executive of PAL – GSA, Dammam Office, and it was actually my first time to attend this kind of event. Since I always choose Philippine Airlines whenever I plan for my annual leave, I was really interested to learn about PAL's upcoming milestones which will be launched in the Kingdom later this year.

The Philippines' national carrier will be introducing the Business Class in Riyadh on the 15th of August 2017 while their Business Class in Dammam is on the 15th of September 2017, with Premium Economy and Economy Class still be on regular selection.

Another highlight during PAL's product update was the INFLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT. It's a necessity to have some entertainment on board to alleviate boredom especially when you have an 8-hour flight from Dammam to Manila. Before, I just sleep most of the time whenever I travel with Philippine Airlines because inflight entertainment is not-so available. You have to shred first some dollars to at least get connected for some time. That's why I was thrilled to know that they have brought inflight entertainment to a whole new level!
